ABOUT ME

Sammy Wynn is a National Award-winning journalist and journalism student at the University of Kentucky, with published work in the Kentucky Kernel and at WKYT.

As a Print Journalism student studying environmental and sustainability studies and Spanish, Sammy hopes to tell the stories of her community truthfully and with the respect they deserve. She has skills in both AP Style and Multi-Media Content Creation

Beyond the byline, she hopes to one day travel around the world doing what she loves and meeting new people. For now, she enjoys her position as a news intern at WKYT.
